TFS HealthScience is a global contract research organization founded in 1996 in Lund, Sweden, and now operating across Europe, North America, and Australia with over 600 professionals. Functional Service Provider (FSP) Model TFS was the first CRO in Europe to establish an FSP business model (1997) and continues to offer fit-for-purpose outsourcing models for clinical workforce management.

Growth and Acquisitions

TFS has expanded through strategic acquisitions including SCIderm (dermatology specialist, 2016), Beardsworth Consulting Group (oncology and vaccine niche, 2013), and Appletree CI Group (ophthalmology and medical devices, 2023). The company is majority-owned by Ratos (acquired 100% by 2019).
