Regulatory Track Record

Tioga's scientific team pioneered the development methodology instrumental in the successful FDA approval and commercialization of Pennsaid® 2% (diclofenac sodium topical solution), a higher-strength prescription product for osteoarthritis of the knee. The team applied rigorous scientific methodology through Cascade Screening™ and advanced in vitro skin permeation testing to enhance drug delivery while maintaining pharmaceutical stability and meeting regulatory requirements. Pennsaid® 2% has achieved approximately $6 billion in cumulative sales.
